About Me

Dru Knight, LMT

Experienced, Intuitive, and Dedicated to Women's Wellness

I became a massage therapist because I know — firsthand — how chronic pain and emotional stress can deeply affect your life. In my early twenties, I suffered a whiplash injury that left me in lasting pain. Like many, I explored various doctors and alternative therapies in search of relief. Of everything I tried, it was massage therapy and bodywork that brought the most profound, lasting healing.

Through regular sessions, my pain eased, my body felt grounded, and I became more emotionally resilient. That experience inspired me to help others feel their best — and led me to enroll in the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2005. I graduated with honors in August 2006, passed the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork with high scores, and became a licensed massage therapist in Connecticut later that year.

A Lifelong Student of Healing

I truly love what I do — and I’m passionate about continuing to grow in this work. Over the years, I’ve completed hundreds of hours of continuing education and earned advanced certifications in:

  • Orthopedic Massage

  • Prenatal Massage (MotherMassage™)

  • CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release

  • Massage Cupping, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release

  • Reiki, Acupressure, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and more

I hold a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut and am also a certified Hypnotist, allowing me to bring a truly integrative, mind-body approach to my work.

Who I Work With

As a female massage therapist, I specialize in working with women who are seeking relief, support, and reconnection with their bodies. My practice is a safe, private space where women can feel seen, heard, and deeply cared for.
